Holy cupcake! Yesterday was my birthday and I invited all my friends to go see this improvisational theater in a bar I go to every week. Two of my best friends are part of the troop and they had a little surprise for me. When introducing the troop they asked me up on stage and told me that I was to make part of the troop for the evening.

IT WAS AMAZING!
My heart stopped and I have never been that nervous in my life before. But I had so much fun. The show they make is an "improv theater jam", the audience chooses the themes for the skits, the master of ceremonies chooses the restraint and the troop performs, and if you want to you can join them on stage. I have been up with them on several occasions but never during the ENTIRE show. It was so much fun but scary as hell. I screwed up a few times, French isn't my mother tongue so it is really hard to do some skits but in the whole it went pretty well. I am considering doing this more often.
To be honest I haven't spent a better birthday in a very very long time. Everybody was there, my boyfriend, la famille (closest friends so to speak), work friends, and almost all my school friends. I felt really honored and I am so grateful to have such wonderful people surrounding me.
Love them all so much I do not know what I would be doing without them!
