And then there are all those little things that make you smile. Maybe they don't make you cry of joy - but they are definitely on the happy side of life.
I have decided to take these little things and turn them into important little things. Focusing on them makes my life happier. Maybe not in a I'm-crying-of-joy kind of way, but in a my-life-really-is-quite-sweet kind of way.
Here are some of the little things that made me happy lately!
I bumped into an amazingly cool building while walking around in Paris. | I saw Don Jon (loved it!) and got to ask Joseph Gordon Levitt a question. | I met the real R2D2 at Le Musée des Arts et Metiers, which is an amazing place, and if you are a bit of science geek like me you will adore it. | I went to the Disney park to say hi to my friends and I managed to bump into my best friend Minnie! So adorable! I stood there watching her for ages while she was taking pictures and making people smile. Such an amazing job!
I attended an amazing party last night with my friends. We were all dressed up like kings and queens from pretty much every time period ever. I went as an English princess. I really liked it so I figured I should just go to England and try to find prince Harry. We also had a home made Iron Throne. Awesome.
Some other little things - school is doing great! Better than I could ever hoped! I just passed the 29k on my NaNoWriMo novel, and I am starting to believe that I can actually finish it! And I spent an amazing night of write-in Friday night with the French Wrimos. Such an amazing bunch of people.
I could go on forever with this list! (Tea! Movies! Music! Friends!) but that would probably be boring. So please, instead, tell me what your little things are. What made you smile today? On twitter? Let's all just tag the #thelittlethings and turn the little things into big things!
Night!

What made me smile today was seeing you!! =D And a little boy dancing like a princess on Sofia the First' songs.
ReplyDeleteAnd just having a little trip in my mind, as usual, I always find a laughing place inside. (do I sound like a crazy girl saying that? =P ) Oh and listening some Animaniacs songs.
I've got the "Writing Magic" book, it's AMAZING, really entertaining, and not boring-in-a-lesson-kind-of-way like most 'how-to-write-books" are. No, it's full of good advice and reminds you the most important thing is having fun!
Now, off to wtach the new TMNT episode, definitively a new smile to add to the others =P
