My dad came home with the Tintin movie today!
I hadn't seen it, and to be honest I never actually liked Tintin, I think it's because of the man who read the audio book of it I listened to as a child. Something about his voice freaked me out.
The movie did make me want to read more though.
Anyway, both misters Spielberg and Jackson have an incredible talent and watching their movies are always a pleasure! The hours of work put in to this thing is awesome, and the result is breathtaking. And the best thing - you hardly even think about it. It is a smooth and fun family movie. I do wish that one day I will get to work with motion capture. The possibilities are infinite! (Imagine the fantasy movies we can make?! Just look at an Assassin's Creed trailer and you'll know what I mean.)
And of course, Tintin has style! Hergé, the man who created Tintin started the series in 1929 and Tintin has looked pretty much the same ever since. But why change a winning team?
