It's Friday I'm in love with... Doll Makers

I sat down to write this weeks "It's Friday I'm in Love" about Sweden, or maybe about something more serious than this. But as I realized they have wifi on the train (I LOVE YOU SWEDEN) I immediately ended up on Azalea's Dolls. Yes. It's a dress up game site. Yes. I am 22. But hell. I realized that if I am going to have this blog I need to be as honest as I can. And honestly - I love this!
Naura and Tim - the protagonists of my (unfinished) novel

For you who might be a bit more mature than I am - you might remember being a kid and playing with those paper dolls? You know you cut out a doll and then clothes to it and you could dress it up as you wanted. My cousins and I used to make those, for some reason they were almost always mice. Don't ask me why.

Well when the internet came the thing kinda exploded. And I got stuck. I guess it's kinda drawing for people who can't draw. For a while I was really into it, I made my own clothes, or changed them with Photoshop and I could spend hours with them, trying to make them look like my favourite characters from my favorite TV-show (The Tribe if you really want to know).

And well, I guess it still lingers on. Nowadays I often do it whenever I come up with new characters for my stories. Since I can't draw I try to visualize them this way. Or I do myself in Game of Thrones, or Harry Potter style. Because - admit it. You'd love to be a part of those worlds too.

My favorite place to play dress up (except in real life) is Azalea's Dolls. You can do a Lord of the Rings character, maybe Jessica Rabbit, how about Game of Thrones or maybe The Tudors? Even a Disney like fairy tale prince or heroine. Geez.

Some of Azalea's doll makers are a collaboration with another awesome place called Doll Divine and it has a Harry Potter scene maker and a viking maker

I guess what I am trying to say is that this is my guilty pleasure. I know I should be writing on my awesome TV-series, but hell... I can do that when I get off this train.

Have you ever played with doll makers? No? Then what's your guilty pleasure?
